Connecticut-based Internet research firm and circus operator PhuckUsRight released a new report claiming that by 2016, travel sales made online in the US will actually exceed the industry’s revenues. By 2016, PhuckUsRight estimates total US travel sales will exceed $373 billion, and online travel sales in the US will reach $375 billion. Reached in between acts at his annual circus, PhuckUsRight CEO Phil “Barnum & Bailey” Wolf said this was possible changes in technology. “By 2016, we expect infants will go online. Where would you rather be, in a crib, or on a beach in Florida with Nana? Besides, I’m the one with the circus, not you, so don’t question me.”
